Q. Does the chocolate fountain use real chocolate?
A. Yes, we use a High Quality Belgium Callebaut Chocolate.
Q. How much chocolate do you provide?
A. The Medium Chocolate Fountain includes 22 lbs. of chocolate. We
offer additional chocolate in increments of 5 lbs. at $8.00 per pound.
Q. How many guests will the chocolate fountain serve?
A. The Medium Chocolate Fountain will serve approximately 150 guests.
Additional chocolate can be purchased and added to the fountain to
serve an infinite amount of guests.
Q. Do I have to set-up, tear down or clean the Chocolate Fountain?
A. No, we do all the work for you. We will arrive approximately 60
minutes prior to the designated starting time. The fountain will then
be carefully set up and the chocolate will be melted and flowing so
your guests will experience the sweet aroma of chocolate when they
begin to arrive. When the event has concluded we will clean and
dismantle the fountain. All you have to do is enjoy your party!
Q. How long can I have the Chocolate Fountain at my event?
A. Our packages include the use of the Chocolate Fountain for up to 5
hours. This does not include the time to set up and take down the
unit. If needed, additional hours of service can be purchased for
$50.00 per half hour.
Q. What are the table and electrical requirements?
A. Since the fountain weighs over 100 lbs. when operating, a level
sturdy table is necessary. If the table is not level, the chocolate
will not flow properly. Your banquet facility should provide table
linens that coordinate with your decor. The Chocolate Fountain
requires a 120v grounded electrical outlet within 25 ft. of the
fountain set-up location.
Q. What are some of the dipping items that can be used with the
Chocolate Fountain?
A. Strawberries, melon, pineapple, apples, pears, bananas, raspberries
or any fresh fruit of your preference. You can also dip butter
cookies, rice krispie treats, marshmallows, pretzels, potato chips,
biscotti, graham crackers, angel food cake, pound cake, etc……….any
thing you like with chocolate!!!!!
Q. Who provides the dipping items for the Chocolate Fountain?
A. Your caterer. Many hotels and banquet facilities do not allow
outside vendors to provide food items – that is either included with
your contract or as an additional item for you to purchase separately
through the banquet facility.
Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. Yes, a signed rental agreement and a 50% deposit is required to
schedule your event. Reservations are limited and are on a first come,
first served basis. The balance of your payment is due 14 days prior
to the scheduled day of your event..
